White of Crush Honored, RCK's Best Manager Tuesday, April 4th , 2051 Club officials have reported seeing Ron White at the ballpark as early as 7 am. His dedication, coupled with a shrewd management style and a knack for knowing "who's hot and who's not" earned White the Rockefeller League Manager of the Year Award for 2051. "I guess you could say I pushed all the right buttons at the right time for the Crush to have the season we did. But keep in mind, too, that I also had a group of dedicated ballplayers who played their hearts out. I thank them for winning this award for me." There was much joy in Orange this season. Their beloved Crush took second place in the Rockefeller League Richard Branson Division, rounding out the year with a 30-20 record. |
