Paul Bunyan Trophy Goes the Distance, Zenith Prevails Thursday, March 3rd , 2050 The joy and relief on the faces of the Zenith Zephyrs players was obvious as they celebrated their Paul Bunyan Trophy win over the Netflix Streamers. "In a series like this, the smallest thing can make the difference in how it turns out," said Zenith shortstop Ralph McKeane, shortly after the 8-2 win that clinched the series 2-1. "We're happy we did what it takes to get it done." The team is now off to the Governors Cup. McKeane won series MVP honors on the strength of his .364 batting average during the series. He also had a .417 on-base percentage and 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Zenith Zephyrs will play against the U.S. Marine Corps Fighting Leathernecks in the next round.
