Victory Miller MLN Hitter of the Week Monday, February 7th , 2050 20-year-old Barney Miller made a few Jakarta headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Mellon League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 29 at-bats to put up a .483 average. Miller collected 7 home runs, 14 RBIs and scored 8 runs. Miller is presently hitting at a .365 pace with 17 home runs, 34 RBIs and has scored 26 times. |
