Liu Hurls 3-0 Shutout Tuesday, July 12th , 2061 Yuan Liu of the Waco Thunder overwhelmed the Ogden Thunder Ducks and walked off the mound with a complete-game shutout. He blanked them, 3-0, on 4 hits with a total of 4 strikeouts and 5 walks. "Yuan was on quite a roll," Waco manager Iván Crus said. "He gets great late movement and he doesn't give in to the hitters." This year, Liu has no relief appearances with no saves, 1-4 season record and a 3.64 ERA. He has hurled 29.2 innings, given up 24 hits, struck out 20 and walked 30.
