Road Runners Heading to Round 3 Sunday, September 1st , 2058 Pepe Gonzáles wore out opposing pitchers en route to being named Round 2 MVP. The star's Alamogordo Road Runners defeated the Chestermere Lunkers by a series score of 4-1 to advance to the Round 3. Alamogordo won the final game by a 8-7 count in front of a raucous crowd at Ballpark of Airdrie. Gonzáles hit .238 with a .238 on-base percentage in the series, while also adding 4 home runs, driving in 6 RBI and scoring 4 runs. "Just trying to do my job, that's all there is too it," said Gonzáles. The Alamogordo Road Runners don't know who they will face in the next round.
