Atoms Win Round 1 Wednesday, August 21st , 2058 On the strength of a 3-2 win at Impact Ballpark, the Albany Atoms have swept the Traverse City Talons to win the Round 1. "We expected to win, but I don't think we anticipated taking the series 4-0," said series MVP Carlos Núñez. "That's a fantastic team over there, but we wouldn't be denied." For the series, Núñez had a 0.00 ERA over 4 innings pitched, with a 1-0 record. The Albany Atoms don't know who they will face in the next round.
