Harmon Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games Friday, August 9th , 2058 Rusty Harmon collected 3 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 25 games. His club, the Chestermere Lunkers, beat the Elkins Buzzards 5-2. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Harmon quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Rusty Harmon flied out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. Thus far this year Harmon is batting .358 with 1 home run, 24 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
