Harmon Hits in 20 Straight Games Sunday, August 4th , 2058 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Rusty Harmon did it again, bashing 1 hit in the contest at Thunder Park today. For the last 20 games in a row, the 17-year-old left fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Chestermere Lunkers beat the Waco Thunder 3-2 today. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Harmon told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Chestermere clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Rusty Harmon flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and singled in the 8th. In 55 games Harmon is hitting .335 this season with 68 hits, no home runs, 18 RBIs, 18 walks, .404 OBP and has scored 35 runs. |
