Koin Suitani Sidelined for Season Friday, July 26th , 2058 The season is finished for Koin Suitani of the Laramie Wranglers. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Wranglers starting pitcher suffered bone chips in his elbow while throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Lynchburg Whiskeyjacks. Team doctors said it would take at least 4 months to heal. So far this year Suitani has made 10 starts, tossed 60.1 innings, struck out 53 batters and walked 12. His record is 2-4 with a 4.33 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .252 batting average. |
