Thunder Move on to Round 3 Thursday, September 6th , 2057 With a narrow 4-3 series win, the Waco Thunder have eliminated the Chestermere Lunkers and are Round 2 winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the Round 3, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said first baseman Yong-sup Paek, who was named series MVP. Waco won the final game by a score of 3-2, wrapping it up at Ballpark of Airdrie. Paek's big series saw him hit .345 with a .345 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Waco Thunder don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Traverse City Talons - Charlottesville Marching Ants series. That series is tied at 3 games apiece. The Round 3 is scheduled to begin on September 7th , 2057.
