Big Day for Márquez: Swats 5 Hits Wednesday, August 8th , 2057 Manuel Márquez really sizzled at the plate in today's 7-5 win over Sting Rays. The Saylorville right fielder blistered Gaylord for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Márquez was too tough to get out today," the Sting Rays skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Manuel Márquez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Javier Gonzáles in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Jacinto Gallegos in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Eugene Belesis in the 8th.
