 | Nuts Shut Out by Rowe, 16-0 Monday, June 19th, 2045 The Caracas Leones shut out the Saylorville Nuts 16-0 today behind the strong pitching of Joe Rowe. Rowe surrendered only 4 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 9. Following the last out, Rowe appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Saylorville manager Giustino Viadana, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. Rowe's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Nuts skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Leones press conference, Rowe confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.
