Memphis's Hernández Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
Monday, April 25th , 2061
Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Memphis's 11-4 win over Anderson, right fielder Juan Hernández was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Shoeless Joe Jackson Memorial Ballpark.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Hernández said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Juan Hernández singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
Thus far this year, Hernández is batting .330 with no home runs, 5 RBIs and 14 runs scored.
