But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the St. Joseph Butchers reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2058 Donaldo League Reliever of the Year Award. He fanned 67 betters, while walking 16 and put up a record of 2-2 to go with his 1.26 ERA. He received 26 first place votes out of a possible 32. Clint Moore of the Providence Bees finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Jorge Márquez of the Winston-Salem Warthogs finished third.
