Hammers Advance to Series of Accountability Friday, September 6th , 2058 When the entire season comes down to one game, Ilir Nesimi said you find out what a team is really about. As it turns out, the High Point Hammers are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Kamloops Moops 3-1 tonight at The Toolshed in order to win the Interior Series and book a place in the next round. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Nesimi, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." Nesimi hit .417 with a .462 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 2 runs. The High Point Hammers will play against the Saskatchewan Monarchs in the next round.
