The Math Says - Trenton Out of Playoffs Monday, September 2nd , 2058 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," Trenton Generals starting pitcher Brian Whitford said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. Trenton last appeared in the postseason in 2043. This is their 15th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 49 times in their 64-year history. |
