Seánez 5-for-6 for Warthogs Sunday, September 1st , 2058 Winston-Salem shortstop Alberto Seánez had a big day at Spinning Web Field today against the Memphis Chicks. The 23-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Warthogs to a 12-1 triumph over Memphis. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Seánez said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Alberto Seánez singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Angus Selkirk in the 6th and flied out in the 9th.
