Duluth Narrowly Wins Donaldo League Mid-Central Sunday, September 1st , 2058 The Donaldo League Mid-Central crown was certainly in question throughout the season, but the Duluth Dragons have now finally claimed it. With a record of 94-45, the club has won its 25th division title. "It's special," starting pitcher Jeff Mason said when asked to sum up his feelings. "It's easy to take for granted what it's like to be on a winning team, but everyone who has ever been on a loser knows how sweet this is." Team manager Jefferson Pierce said the focus will now shift towards getting ready for the playoffs, where the team will be trying to win the 8th championship in franchise history. |
