DNL Announces Best Batter Award Sunday, September 1st , 2058 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 22 Fernando Alicea has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young Frederick Travelers star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the Donaldo League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .324 average with 12 home runs, 37 RBIs and 21 runs scored. This year Alicea is hitting .335 with 22 home runs. |
