Icaza Goes 5-for-6 Monday, July 29th , 2058 Héctor Icaza was at the head of a Providence hit parade today at Tiger Den. The first baseman went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the Bees to a 21-1 victory over the Newton Falls Flying Tigers. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Icaza told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Flying Tigers skipper Curt Blackburn said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Héctor Icaza hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
