Gaajlimitz's 30-Game Hit Streak Ends Saturday, July 27th , 2058 Alpine Valley Snow Creatures designated hitter Mynorli Gaajlimitz finally met his Waterloo. A 30-game hitting spree is now history after Gaajlimitz was unable to make anything happen in 4 at-bats today against the Mississauga Spartans. Fortunately for Gaajlimitz and the Snow Creatures, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game 4-3. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 30 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." This season Gaajlimitz has hit at a .379 clip and produced 28 runs batted in, 1 home run and 48 runs. |
