Gómez Raps 3 HR Against Chicks

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Patriot Pandas-Chicks game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Columbus first baseman Jorge Gómez thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Columbus to a 12-5 win over Memphis.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Gómez said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Gómez was 4-for-6 on the day with 5 RBI.
Jorge Gómez grounded out in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Sancho Hayner in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Emmanuel Pagani in the 7th and hit a solo-shot off Hakim Abdul-Hakam in the 8th.
Gómez is currently hitting at a .317 pace with 6 home runs, 15 RBIs and has scored 13 times.
