Montaño Shuts Out Churchills, 3-0 Sunday, July 14th , 2058 The Saskatchewan Monarchs shut out the Bismarck Churchills 3-0 today behind the strong pitching of Alejandro Montaño. Montaño surrendered only 6 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 6. Following the last out, Montaño appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Bismarck manager Al Compton, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken left-hander as the clubs left the field. Montaño's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Churchills skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Monarchs press conference, Montaño confirmed that it was regarding the celebration.
