Providence Blanks Peoria, Montgomery Winner Saturday, July 13th , 2058 It was a long day at the plate for the Peoria Spirits at Cianci Stadium today. They never figured out Providence Bees starter Dillon Montgomery and were shut out 7-0. The right-hander baffled the Spirits the entire game, yielding no runs and giving up 5 hits in a well-pitched outing. Montgomery also totaled 11 strikeouts and 1 walk in the game.
