Soto Shackles Louisville Tuesday, July 2nd , 2058 It wasn't easy but the Trois-Rivieres Salmon Kings made it look that way. Starter Felipe Soto shut out the Louisville Fire despite having what he later called "sub-par" stuff, and the Trois-Rivieres Salmon Kings cruised to victory, 9-0. Soto allowed only 3 hits and rang up 7 strikeouts but insisted later that he did not deserve primary credit for the win. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I got a lot of help to get through," he said. "I trusted my catcher and the guys behind me bailed me out more than once when I screwed up." This season Soto has a 8-4 mark in 15 starts with a 2.80 ERA. He has given up 95 hits in 115.2 innings, struck out 96 and issued 33 walks.
