5 Hits for Salmon Kings Murugesan Monday, July 1st , 2058 It was high-fives all around for Subhadra Murugesan at Duane Whitley Field today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Mississauga Spartans. Murugesan smashed 5 hits in 6 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 9-3 win. "Subhadra was hitting everything," said Salmon Kings manager Cris Vázquez. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Spartans manager Daniel Ingram told BNN beat writers that Murugesan "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Murugesan oversleeps next time."
