5-Hit Blitz by Strelioff Sunday, June 16th , 2058 Jerry Strelioff exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Patriot's Park. The Providence third baseman had a field day in the 14-2 triumph over the Columbus Patriot Pandas, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Strelioff must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Jerry Strelioff singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, tripled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
