Blackmore 5-for-5 for Kamloops Friday, June 7th , 2058 Jeff Blackmore exploded for a barrage of base hits today at The Alhambra. The Kamloops first baseman had a field day in the 14-2 triumph over the Corpus Christi Crawfish, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Blackmore must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat.
