RL Announces Player of the Week Monday, July 14th , 2064 When it came to hitting the baseball, Augusto Vázquez was in a class by himself in the Roundfield League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding left fielder for Salt Lake City tagged opposing pitchers for a .579 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 11 hits in 19 at-bats, 4 homers, 10 runs scored and 9 RBIs. So far on the season, Vázquez is hitting .309 with 22 home runs, 63 RBIs and 63 runs scored. He has 108 hits and played in 86 games. |
