Super Season, Sang Wins Steve Garvey, Jr. Batter Award

The future looks extremely bright for Bailey Sang. At the age of 21, many players are still trying to find their way in Rupert Horn Memorial League.
Sang has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Roundfield League Steve Garvey, Jr. Batter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .317 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Mars Martians star also put up a .381 on-base percentage this year, with 168 hits, 28 doubles, no triples, 28 home runs, 86 RBIs and 78 runs scored.
He received 27 first place votes out of a possible 32. Frank Liyongo of the San Francisco Doves finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Juan Silva of the Indianapolis Downforce finished third with 1 first place vote.
