"You look back at a handful of games that easily could have gone the other way for us," said reliever Jorge Márquez. "We really think we were good enough to get to the playoffs this year, so it stings." The Gunslingers have made the playoffs 7 times in their 64 years as a Rupert Horn Memorial League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2056. In the last 10 seasons, the Gunslingers have only made the playoffs once. |
