Vio Gal Out for Season Monday, September 2nd , 2058 Vio Gal of the Fighting Pheasants just might have to call it quits for the season. The 26-year-old Brooks right fielder received a possible season-ending injury against the Albuquerque Coyotes recently at SUNY Medical Center Presents The Railyard. Gal suffered a fractured ankle while running the bases. The Fighting Pheasants medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 4-5 months. Looking at his present stats, Gal has compiled a .207 batting average in 104 games with a .309 on-base percentage, while hitting 17 home runs and driving in 62 runs. |
