Rockford Starter Named GL's Best Pitcher Sunday, September 1st , 2058 In August, Stevie Bodine tore through the Granville League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 22 years old. The young Rockford starter posted a 4-0 mark and an ERA of 1.03 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 43.2 innings he collected 29 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .187 average. This season Bodine has compiled a 5-4 mark, 1.97 ERA and made 18 starts. |
