Menzies Sits Out with Day-to-Day Injury Saturday, August 31st , 2058 The Richmond Panthers received some welcome news this morning. They will not need to place shortstop Robert Menzies on the injured list. During yesterday's game against the Rockford Bulldogs, he was injured running the bases. The injury, however, is not serious. The Richmond star performer is listed as day-to-day with back spasms. In his season totals Menzies has no home runs and a .238 batting average. |
