Beaton Pitches 3-0 Shutout for Indianapolis Saturday, August 24th , 2058 Quincy dropped a 3-0 shutout to Bronson Beaton and the Indianapolis Downforce at Grasshopper Park today. The Firedancers offered little resistance to Beaton, who stopped them on 3 hits, fanned 4 and walked 2. "It just felt right today," the left-handed Beaton told reporters after the win. "Even with the rain, it didn't throw me off my rhythm." So far this year Beaton has made no relief appearances with no saves, thrown 187.1 innings and struck out 167 with a 17-6 record.
