Duluth Out of Playoff Race Friday, August 23rd , 2058 Fans of the Duluth Freeze will no doubt soon start turning their attention to next season -- if they haven't already. The team today was officially eliminated from playoff contention. Before this season, the Freeze last missed the playoffs in 2056. In the 30 years they have been a Rupert Horn Memorial League franchise, they have made the playoffs 7 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Freeze have missed the playoffs 7 times.
