Dreadful Season Sees Playoff Hopes Dashed for Mars Monday, August 12th , 2058 The Mars Martians playoff hopes were already minuscule at best, but even those faint hopes have been dashed. The team was mathematically eliminated from the playoffs today. Mars last appeared in the postseason in 2049. This is their 9th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 46 times in their 64-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Martians have only made the playoffs once. |
