De Jesús's Treatment Not Going Well, Suffers Setback Monday, August 5th , 2058 Gotham first baseman Ricardo De Jesús reportedly suffered a setback this week while rehabilitating plantar fascitis. Preliminary tests showed the injury had gotten worse and would need more time to be completely healed. An unidentified team official said it looked like it would be at least 3 weeks before De Jesús would be able to return to the active roster. De Jesús will see a specialist tomorrow. Looking at his present stats, De Jesús has compiled a .300 batting average in 57 games with a .370 on-base percentage, while hitting 1 home run and driving in 15 runs. |
