GL's Premier Starter is García Thursday, August 1st , 2058 António García of New Jersey had a tremendous July with a 5-0 mark and was chosen the Pitcher of the Month in the Granville League. García restricted opposing hitters to 34 base hits and a .210 batting average. He rang up 36 strikeouts in 44.2 innings of work, surrendered 12 walks, and crafted a 2.42 ERA. So far this season García has compiled a 7-1 record with a 2.90 ERA. |
