Canucks End Delgado's Streak Sunday, July 28th , 2058 Roberto Delgado of the Brooks Fighting Pheasants came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 1 at-bat for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the left fielder, Brooks dropped the game to the Victoria Canucks 2-1. "It was not a good day today," Delgado told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Presently Delgado is hitting .325 with 2 home runs and 14 RBIs. He has played in 37 games and scored 18 times. |
