Corsairs, D'antonio Stonewall Lincoln, 8-0 Tuesday, July 23rd , 2058 The Los Cabos Corsairs shut out the Lincoln Loggers 8-0 today behind the strong pitching of Joe D'antonio. D'antonio surrendered only 1 hit in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 7. Following the last out, D'antonio appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Lincoln manager Donovan Burgess, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken right-hander as the clubs left the field. D'antonio's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Loggers skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Corsairs press conference, D'antonio confirmed that it was regarding the celebration. "He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," D'antonio said. "And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Los Cabos manager Rafael Velásquez added.
