Indianapolis Shuts Out South Bend, 12-0 Wednesday, July 17th , 2058 Fans at Grasshopper Park witnessed the Indianapolis Downforce blank the South Bend Proudest Monkeys, 12-0 behind a superb effort by starter Bronson Beaton. The Indianapolis left-hander allowed 5 hits in recording the shutout. "Bronson was good today but I don't want to focus too much on a single game," Indianapolis manager Jin-oong An said later. "If you're capable of playing at this level, you're capable of having a good game. The real question is if you can learn from that game and repeat it." Beaton has taken the hill for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 13-4 record with a 3.46 ERA.
