Schumann on a Hot Streak, RL Player of the Week Monday, July 15th , 2058 Carlos Schumann is respected by most Mars Martians fans for his no-frills style of play. The 20-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the Roundfield League Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .556 average (15-for-27) with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Thus far this season Schumann is hitting .344 with 2 home runs, 21 RBIs and 44 runs scored. He has 96 hits in 279 at-bats and has played in 67 games. |
