Chong Slaps 5 Hits Monday, June 24th , 2058 Havana Pelicans third baseman Han-su Chong banged out 5 hits today, but it was not enough to keep his club from succumbing to the Saint Paul Riverhawks, 9-8. He went 5-for-5 and raised his batting average a few points. "If the hits keep coming," an upbeat Chong said after the game, "the runs will too. And, more importantly, so will the wins." Han-su Chong doubled in the 2nd, tripled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Chong is hitting .319 in 2058 with 18 RBIs and no home runs.
