Schwarzacher Hurls No-Hitter Monday, June 10th , 2058 The Indianapolis Downforce relied on no-hit stuff from starter Hannes Schwarzacher to defeat the Mars Martians 4-0 at Mars Field today. "It's quite a thrill," Schwarzacher told the media afterward. "This is a top-notch league. A no-hitter against any team in the league is something special. I can't believe I did it." To get his name logged in the Roundfield League records, he stopped Mars cold and hitless, surrendering 2 walks and fanning 11 of the 29 batters he faced. Indianapolis manager Jin-oong An was in a jovial mode after the game, kidding with reporters that Schwarzacher "made managing easy today." "I didn't have hardly any decisions to make like I usually do," he said. "I didn't even have to come up with a pinch hitter." This year Schwarzacher has made no relief appearances with no saves.
