Big Bang! 3 HR for Rockford's Kiernan Friday, June 7th , 2058 Mark Kiernan showed off his power today as he launched three balls into the seats against the Duluth Freeze and sparked the Bulldogs to a 10-9 victory. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Rockford Field." For the day, Kiernan collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 6 RBIs. "He was instant offense today," Rockford skipper Chris Stone said. "Mark really put on a show." Mark Kiernan hit a solo-shot off Rick Clarijs in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Stewart Angrove in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Max Wille in the 9th.
