Richmond's Ron Christian Suffers Setback Friday, May 31st , 2058 Richmond Panthers starting pitcher Ron Christian informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from elbow tendinitis. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," Christian admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Panthers doctors told BNN Christian would not return for 2 weeks. This year Christian has fanned 22 in 20.2 innings and collected a 1-1 record with a 3.05 ERA. |
