Kwakou Tags Number 500 Wednesday, September 27th , 2051 The Louisville Sluggers had something to celebrate today even though they dropped a 7-4 decision to Yellow Springs. The reason -- the splendid slugger Semei Kwakou hit his 500th career homer in today's contest at Utopia Field. "I'm fortunate to be here," Kwakou told the media after the game. "The Sluggers have a classy organization and some great fans. Homer #500 was for them." Looking at his career numbers, Kwakou has played in 1998 games with a .327 batting average.
