Bad News for Herrera and Boise Sunday, August 27th , 2051 Ángel Herrera, reliever for the Boise Spuds, was making great progress in healing a partially torn labrum according to a team spokesman, but suffered a setback yesterday. "Ángel was doing great in his rehab until he overdid it in a recent workout. Now doctors say it will be at least 4 months before he will be able to rejoin the club." Ángel Herrera is expected to undergo surgery in Boise(Idaho) tomorrow. This season Herrera has made 13 relief appearances, pitched 19.2 innings and struck out 23 with a record of 1 win and no losses. He has compiled a 2.75 ERA and saved 2 games. |
