Aztecs Dominate, Sweep Doubleday Series Friday, October 14th , 2050 With a 7-5 win to wrap up the series at Ullamaliztli Field, the Mexico City Aztecs have eliminated the New Orleans Crawdads in the Doubleday Series and move on to the Cartwright Cup. Mexico City controlled the series from the outset and won it in a 4-0 sweep. Matt Normore led the charge offensively for the victors, winning series MVP honors. He posted a .600 batting average, along with a .667 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 6 runs. "We're not done yet," the MVP said. "There is still a lot to accomplish." The Mexico City Aztecs don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Las Vegas Hustlers - Atlantic City Gamblers series.
